Información adicionalThe Gold China Panda coin has been issued by the China Mint since 1982. Originally, the coin had no face value, but a face value was introduced in 1983. In 2001, the face value was increased, for example from 100 to 500 yuan for the 1 ounce coin. Each year, the motif of the coin is changed and shows a depiction of the famous panda, a symbol of China and nature conservation. The reverse shows the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Until 2015, the coin was offered in the sizes 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz and 1 oz. Since 2016, the coin has been minted in gram units, including 1 g, 3 g, 8 g, 15 g and 30 g. The older vintages are highly sought after by collectors and sometimes command high collector's premiums. Investors value the China Panda gold coin due to its popular motifs and high fineness.
